Founding Partner
Erik Peterson is the co-founder of Siskiyou Wealth Management. He is an independent financial advisor and financial planner, dedicated to helping individual investors and their families realize their investment and financial goals.
Erik is the trusted advisor to a diverse group of individuals and families, including retirees, business executives, attorneys, physicians, engineers, and many others. His clients are located primarily in the Rogue Valley and across the Pacific Northwest.
He has built his business by combining a sound asset class investing methodology with holistic financial planning and first-class client service. Erik has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and Professional Plan Consultant® (PPC®) designations, an achievement highlighting his expertise of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care.
Erik holds an MBA from Portland State University, as well as a BS in journalism and a BA in political science from Rutgers University. He spends most of his free time with his wife, Kristin, raising their two boys, Lucas and Bennett.
Jason Peters, CFP®
Founding Partner
Jason co-founded Siskiyou Wealth Management with friends and partners Erik Peterson and Steve Gressett in February 2015. Jason brings more than 15 years of wealth advisory experience to the team and an elevated commitment to providing objective and personalized service and solutions to clients. He has been practicing as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 2003 and is a graduate of Santa Clara University.
Jason began his career in financial services in San Diego in 1999 with Bank of America Investment Services, customizing financial strategies for high-net-worth banking clients. In 2002, he joined Merrill Lynch, continuing to work with high-net-worth families and completing courses with The College for Financial Planning® in investment management, retirement planning, income taxation, and estate planning.
In 2005, Jason moved to Southern Oregon, joining LPL Financial and PremierWest Investment Services. Jason’s wife and two daughters are an integral part of his life, and Southern Oregon was chosen as an ideal place to raise a family and make a more meaningful community and professional connections. From 2005 to 2014, Jason has worked with individuals, families, and small businesses in Southern Oregon, helping them reach for their financial and life goals through personalized planning and comprehensive wealth management.
In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling, golf, cycling, and spending quality time with his family, friends, and clients.
Stephen Gressett
Founding Partner
Steve Gressett grew up in the Rogue Valley and has called it home for most of his life. He brings to the team nearly two decades of experience in investment management and client consultation and service, as well as more than 15 years of small business management. He is a principal of Siskiyou Wealth Management with friends and partners Erik Peterson and Jason Peters.
Steve began his business career as the owner and operator of a successful bicycle shop in Medford. He learned early on the importance of listening to customers, of tailoring solutions to suit individual needs, and above all, the importance of commitment and dedication to service. Steve grew the business for 15 years, culminating in its recognition as one of the top 100 bicycle shops in the nation.
Steve took these tenets to a new career in the financial services industry, joining PaineWebber in 1998 as a financial advisor. In 2003, he was sought by LPL Financial to assist with the investment management and servicing of a large and established client base. He has since deepened relationships with existing clients and grown his business as a trusted advisor by providing sound financial advice and solutions.
Steve is involved in the local community, serving on several boards and committees. He spends most of his free time with his family and is still passionate about cycling.
